A quick and easy coffee cake featuring apple pie filling, perfect for weekend mornings or a small gathering.

- 1 package white cake mix (2 layer)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 (21 oz) can apple pie filling
- 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1-1 1/2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Combine the first 5 ingredients in a large bowl with a mixer until smooth.
- Spoon the apple pie filling on top of the dough, covering the entire surface.
- Make the glaze with milk and confectioners’ sugar, then sprinkle over the cooled cake.
Notes
Serve slices warm or at room temperature. Pairs well with coffee or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
