Description

Delicious pancakes infused with apple and cinnamon perfect for a sweet breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 apple (peeled and diced)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Maple syrup (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Fold in diced apples and cinnamon.
  5. Heat a griddle or non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  6. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the griddle.
  7. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm stacked with maple syrup drizzled on top.

Notes

Keep cooked pancakes covered lightly to stay warm while you finish the rest.
