Description

A quick and flavorful salmon dish with a creamy, spicy Bang Bang sauce that is perfect for busy weeknights or impressing guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on or skinless
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season them with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and add the salmon fillets, cooking skin-side down for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Flip the fillets and continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until opaque and flaky.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice to make the Bang Bang sauce.
  5. Drizzle the sauce over the cooked salmon and sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Serve over jasmine rice or with a side of steamed vegetables for a delicious meal. The sauce can be adjusted for spice level by altering the sriracha quantity.
