Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
  5. Add the cooked chicken and buffalo sauce, mixing well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

Cook pasta until just tender to hold the sauce. Sauté garlic briefly to avoid bitterness. Bring cream to a gentle simmer, not a hard boil. Tossing the pasta helps the sauce stick.
