Description

Delightful bars combining creamy cheesecake, sweet caramel, and tart apples, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups diced apples (such as Granny Smith)
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until mixed well. Press into the bottom of the baking dish to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well incorporated.
  4. Gradually add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Fold in diced apples and cinnamon gently.
  6. Pour cheesecake mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce on top and swirl with a butter knife.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until edges are set and center jiggles slightly.
  9. Cool in the pan for an hour, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing.

Notes

For additional texture, you can add chopped nuts to the crust. For a chocolate twist, drizzle melted chocolate over the caramel.
