Description
This caramel brulee latte is creamy, rich, and sweet with notes of golden caramel and a hint of toasted sugar crunch on top. Perfect for cozy mornings or as a luxurious afternoon pick-me-up, it’s easy to make at home with simple ingredients and a big café-style flavor payoff.
Ingredients
1–2 shots espresso or 1/3 cup strong brewed coffee
1 cup milk (whole, oat, almond, or preferred type)
2 tablespoons caramel brulee syrup (store-bought or homemade)
Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
1 teaspoon crushed caramel candy or golden sugar (brulee-style topping)
Dash of vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
-
Brew espresso or strong coffee and set aside.
-
In a saucepan or frother, heat the milk until hot but not boiling. Froth if desired.
-
Pour the caramel brulee syrup into a mug. Add a splash of vanilla if using.
-
Add the coffee and stir until the syrup dissolves.
-
Slowly pour in the steamed milk. Spoon foam over the top.
-
Add whipped cream and sprinkle crushed caramel or golden sugar on top.
-
Serve warm and enjoy immediately.
Notes
To make it sugar-free, use sugar-free caramel syrup and skip the brulee topping.
For an iced version, let the coffee cool, then build the drink over ice with cold milk.
For vegan, use oat or almond milk and coconut whipped cream.
