- 2 slices crusty sourdough bread
- 4 slices savory turkey
- 2 slices crispy bacon
- 2 slices sharp white cheddar cheese
- 1 fresh tomato, sliced
- 1 cup baby spinach
- 2 tablespoons honey mustard
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or grill over medium heat.
- Spread honey mustard on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- Layer turkey, bacon, cheddar, tomato, and spinach on top of the honey mustard side of one slice of bread.
- Top with another slice of bread, honey mustard side down.
- Grill on the preheated skillet until the bread is golden and the cheese has melted, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
Heating the skillet first gives an even crust. Spread the mustard to ensure each bite has flavor. Press the sandwich gently while grilling to help the cheese melt.
