Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup Nutella
- Flaky sea salt for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Whisk the dry ingredients together.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add vanilla extract and egg to the butter-sugar mixture, mixing well.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- In a greased oven-safe skillet, layer half of the cookie dough. Spread Nutella on top, then cover with the remaining cookie dough.
- Sprinkle flaky sea salt generously on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is slightly gooey.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving warm from the pan.
Notes
Serve with vanilla ice cream for an extra treat! Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
