Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add softened butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and chocolate chips.
- Roll tightly and cut into slices.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- For icing, mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
Whisking dry ingredients first helps even flavor. If the dough feels too sticky, add a little flour when rolling. Use a sharp knife or dental floss for clean cutting.
