- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Place the torn croissant pieces in the baking dish and optionally toss in extra chocolate chips.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Pour the custardy mixture evenly over the croissants.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.
- Let it sit for 10-15 minutes to absorb the custard.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown and the top is set.
- Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar if desired.
