Description

A creamy, protein-rich dessert made with whipped cottage cheese, dark chocolate, and cocoa powder. This guilt-free mousse is quick to prepare, naturally low in carbs, and flexible enough to enjoy as a dessert, snack, or post-workout treat. No baking required—just blend, chill, and enjoy.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup full-fat cottage cheese

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1 ounce dark chocolate (70–90%), melted

12 tablespoons sweetener (maple syrup, monk fruit, honey, or stevia)

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave using 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

2. In a high-speed blender or food processor, combine the cottage cheese, cocoa powder, melted chocolate, sweetener, and vanilla extract.

3. Blend for 1–2 minutes until completely smooth. Scrape down the sides if needed.

4. Spoon the mousse into jars or ramekins.

5. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes if you prefer a thicker consistency, or enjoy immediately.

Notes

For a low-carb or keto version, use sugar-free chocolate and a zero-calorie sweetener like stevia or erythritol.

Add-ins like chia seeds, protein powder, or espresso powder can enhance texture or flavor.

Store in the fridge for up to 4 days. Mousse will thicken slightly over time.

Freeze in silicone molds for high-protein frozen treats.
