- 1 round Brie cheese
- 1 cup fresh or canned cranberries
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 baguette or crackers for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add cranberries, brown sugar, maple syrup, and vanilla extract, stir and cook for 5-7 minutes until cranberries pop and mixture thickens.
- Place the Brie on a baking dish and pour the cranberry mixture over top.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans on top of the Brie.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the Brie is soft and gooey.
- Let cool slightly, then serve warm with baguette or crackers.
Notes
For a nut-free option, skip the pecans and use sunflower seeds instead.
