- 8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp and Cajun seasoning, cooking until shrimp are pink and opaque (about 2-3 minutes per side). Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the cooked pasta and shrimp back to the skillet, tossing to coat.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley.
