Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 can (15 oz) white beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (4 oz) diced green chilies
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients.
- In a large pot, warm up olive oil and sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add shredded chicken, white beans, diced green chilies, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in heavy cream and let simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped cilantro.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute half of the heavy cream with Greek yogurt. Adjust seasoning before serving and consider adding lime juice for brightness.
