Description

Delightful Gingerbread Rice Krispie Treats are a festive twist on the classic treat, combining marshmallows, spices, and crispy cereal for a sweet, crunchy dessert.


Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows or 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add the marshmallows and stir continuously until melted.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, salt, and vanilla.
  4. Add Rice Krispies and stir until well coated.
  5. Transfer to a greased 9×13-inch pan and press down evenly.
  6. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
