Description

Delicious Crumbl Cookies featuring a soft, chewy interior and crisp edges, topped with rich cream cheese frosting.


Ingredients

  • 70 g Brown Sugar
  • 70 g Sugar
  • 115 g Butter (melted)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 220 g Plain Flour
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 90 g Butter (softened)
  • 90 g Cream Cheese
  • 250 g Icing Sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, whisking until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the plain flour, cornflour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture until combined.
  6. In another bowl, beat the softened butter and cream cheese together until fluffy.
  7. Gradually add the icing sugar and beat until the frosting is silky.
  8. Scoop portions of dough onto a lined baking sheet with space in between.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden and centers are soft.
  10. Let cookies cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  11. Top warm cookies with cream cheese frosting.

Notes

For best results, avoid overmixing the cookie dough and use room temperature ingredients.
