Instructions
1. Preheat oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Prepare the stuffing: In a bowl, mix the stuffing with melted butter and broth or water until moistened.
3. Make the creamy layer: In another bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and seasonings.
4. Layer ingredients: Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread chicken evenly on the bottom.
5. Add the creamy mixture: Pour the soup mixture over the chicken and spread evenly.
6. Top with stuffing: Distribute the stuffing mixture over the creamy layer.
7. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25–30 minutes (50–55 minutes if using raw chicken).
8. Uncover and finish: Remove foil and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until golden and bubbling.
9. Optional: Broil for 2–3 minutes for a crisp topping.
