Description

A quick and soothing drink blending black tea with the citrus note of bergamot and creamy milk.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Earl Grey tea bags (or 2 teaspoons loose leaf tea)
  • 2 cups water
  • 12 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/2 cup whole milk (or milk of choice, such as almond, oat, or coconut milk)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (optional, for extra creaminess)

Instructions

  1. Brew the tea in hot water for 3 to 5 minutes, covering to retain the aroma.
  2. While the tea steeps, warm the milk in a small pan on low heat, adding cream if desired.
  3. Remove the tea bags or strain leaves from the brewed tea and pour it into a cup.
  4. Add the warm milk slowly while stirring, followed by sugar and vanilla, mixing until dissolved.
  5. Taste and adjust sugar or milk as needed.
  6. For iced tea, allow the brewed tea to cool and pour over ice, adding cold milk.

Notes

Use high-quality Earl Grey tea for the best flavor and aroma. Adjust sweetness and milk type to your preference.
