Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish
  • Cooked pasta or rice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute.
  3. Add the shrimp and sauté until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Allow the sauce to simmer until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve over pasta or rice, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, use coconut milk instead of heavy cream and nutritional yeast instead of Parmesan.
