Description

A refreshing and sweet creamy grape salad, inspired by Chicken Salad Chick’s version, perfect as a side dish for potlucks and meals.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups seedless grapes, washed and dried (red, green, or mixed)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar or powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, for topping
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts, for topping
  • Optional: a small squeeze of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the grapes first.
  2. Soften the cream cheese in a bowl.
  3. Add sour cream and beat until smooth.
  4. Mix in the sugar and vanilla. Taste and add lemon if desired.
  5. Put the grapes in a larger bowl and pour the dressing over them.
  6. Toss gently with a soft spoon or spatula to coat evenly.
  7. Cover the bowl and chill for at least one hour.
  8. Right before serving, mix the brown sugar with the chopped nuts and sprinkle on top.

Notes

For a lighter version, use plain Greek yogurt and reduce the sugar. Keep the topping separate until serving to maintain crispness.
