Ingredients

  • 2 Ripe pears
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 0.25 cups Maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 0.5 cups Chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt or cream
  • Fresh pear slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix the oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in one bowl.
  3. Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and maple syrup in another bowl.
  4. Fold the wet mix into the oats.
  5. Stir in chopped pears and nuts.
  6. Pour into the dish and top with pear slices.
  7. Bake until set and slightly golden.
  8. Let it rest before serving so it firms up.
