Ingredients
- Roast beef – thin slices
- Slider buns – soft dinner rolls
- Caramelized onions – sweet, deep flavor
- Swiss cheese – melts well
- Dijon mustard – for tang
- Au jus for dipping – warm beef broth
- Butter – for brushing tops
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the slider buns in half horizontally.
- On the bottom half of each bun, layer roast beef, caramelized onions, and Swiss cheese.
- Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on the top half of the buns.
- Place the top half on the assembled sliders.
- Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the buns are lightly toasted.
- Serve warm with au jus for dipping.
Notes
Preheating gives even melt and toast. Avoid overfilling the sliders. Keep dips warm for optimal flavor.
