- 1 package of puff pastry (two sheets)
- 1 cup of ricotta cheese
- 1 cup of grated mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon of water)
- Optional: fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the two sheets of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface, overlapping slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the filling in the center of the puff pastry, leaving room around the edges to fold over.
- Make cuts diagonally into the pastry at 1-inch intervals along the sides.
- Fold each strip of pastry over the filling, alternating sides to create a braided look.
- Brush the ring with the egg wash.
- Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes, until puffed and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

For best results, avoid overfilling and ensure the edges are sealed well to prevent leaks.
