Description

A fast and fancy grilled lobster tails recipe with a rich garlic herb butter sauce, ideal for special dinners or cookouts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lobster tails
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat your grill to medium-high, about 350°F (175°C).
  2. Using kitchen shears, carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin.
  3. In a bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped chives, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Brush the lobster meat with some of the garlic herb butter mixture, ensuring an even coating.
  5. Place the lobster tails on the grill, shell side down. Grill for about 5-6 minutes.
  6. Carefully flip the lobster tails over and brush with more garlic herb butter. Grill for an additional 5-6 minutes, until the meat is opaque and easily flakes with a fork.
  7. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C) for perfectly cooked lobster.
  8. Remove the lobster tails from the grill and allow them to rest for a few minutes. Brush with any remaining garlic herb butter before serving.

Notes

Pat the lobster dry before seasoning for better butter adhesion. Use fresh ingredients for optimal flavor. Adjust grilling time based on the size of lobster tails.
