Description
A simple, make-ahead breakfast or brunch casserole using day-old croissants, eggs, ham, and two cheeses. Perfect for feeding a crowd with minimal effort.

- 5-6 large croissants, slightly dry
- 1/2 lbs ham, cubed
- 7 large eggs
- 1/2 cup 2% milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp ground mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1-2 tbsp parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the croissants into approximately 1-inch cubes.
- Cube the ham and chop the parsley finely.
- Grease a 9 x 13 inch rectangular casserole dish thoroughly, then add the cubed croissants evenly into the dish.
- Whisk together the eggs, 2% milk, garlic powder, ground mustard, salt, and black pepper until fully combined and smooth.
- Pour the egg mixture over the croissants, ensuring the liquid covers as many pieces as possible.
- Evenly distribute the cubed ham, shredded cheddar, and shredded mozzarella over the mixture.
- Cover the casserole dish and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the cover and continue baking for an additional 20 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle chopped parsley on top for garnish, and serve warm.
Notes
Let rest for 5–10 minutes before cutting. Pairs well with light salads or roasted vegetables.
