Ingredients

- 2 cups brewed black or green tea, cooled
- 1/2 cup fruit juice or fruit puree (peach, mango, or lemon)
- 1 to 2 tbsp simple syrup, honey, or sweetener
- 1/4 cup milk or milk substitute (optional for creamier drink)
- 1 scoop protein powder or flavored mix (optional)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds or basil seeds (optional)
- Ice cubes
- Fresh fruit slices for garnish
Instructions
- Brew two cups of your favorite tea and let it cool to room temperature or refrigerate.
- If using fruit puree, blend or mash your fruit during the cooling period.
- Mix the sweetener with a small amount of hot water to create simple syrup.
- In a glass or jar, combine the cooled tea, fruit juice, and syrup, then stir or shake well.
- If using milk or protein, add it now and stir thoroughly.
- Add ice and seeds last to avoid them sitting too long.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or fruit as needed, chill for 10 minutes if desired.
Notes
