Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups cooked rice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: green onions, sesame seeds, or cilantro
Instructions
- Mix together the BBQ sauce and honey in a bowl.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet.
- Cook chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- Pour the honey BBQ sauce over the chicken during the last few minutes of cooking.
- Serve the chicken over fluffy rice and customize with your favorite toppings.
Notes
Mix the sauce first so it is ready. Heat the pan well to get a light brown sear. Turn the chicken once to cook evenly. Add the sauce near the end to prevent burning. Let the chicken rest a few minutes after cooking to keep it juicy.
