Description

A delightful, creamy blend of spinach and herbs, perfect for gatherings and parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (10 oz) frozen chopped spinach, cooked and drained
  • 1 container (16 oz) full-fat sour cream
  • 1 cup (240 ml) mayonnaise, preferably Hellmann’s or Best Foods
  • 1 package Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix
  • 1 can (8 oz) water chestnuts, optional, drained and chopped
  • 3 stalks green onions, optional, sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook the frozen spinach according to the package directions and allow it to cool completely, squeezing out any excess water.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream and mayonnaise, whisking until smooth.
  3. Sprinkle the Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix over the creamy mixture and fold together gently. Let it sit for about five minutes.
  4. Fold in the cooked spinach and any optional ingredients like chopped water chestnuts and sliced green onions until evenly mixed.
  5. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and cover. Refrigerate for at least two hours, preferably overnight, to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For best results, allow the dip to chill overnight for richer flavors. Consider garnishing with extra green onions or paprika before serving.
