- 1 package sugar cookie dough
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Diced mixed fruit (kiwis, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven and bake the sugar cookies according to the package instructions.
- Transfer the cookies onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- Prepare the frosting by beating the softened butter and cream cheese together until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Spread the frosting evenly across the top of each cooled cookie.
- Top with a generous amount of diced mixed fruit and press lightly.
- Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
