Description

A simple and crowd-pleasing snack of small sausages cooked in a sweet and tangy sauce made with grape jelly and barbecue sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of Little Smokies sausages
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup grape jelly
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the barbecue sauce, grape jelly, and savory spices.
  2. Add the Little Smokies sausages.
  3. Stir to coat the sausages evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours or until heated through.
  5. Serve warm as a party snack.

Notes

Mix the sauce well so the jelly melts and blends with the sauce. Stir once at the start to coat the sausages. Low heat keeps the sausages juicy and stops the sauce from burning.
