- 2 bags peppermint tea
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons honey (adjust to taste)
- Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
- Crushed candy canes or chocolate shavings (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Boil 2 cups of water and pour it over the peppermint tea bags. Steep for about 5 minutes, then remove the bags.
- In a saucepan, heat 1 cup of milk over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Once warm, whisk in cocoa powder and honey until smooth.
- Pour the brewed peppermint tea into a mug and then add the cocoa milk mixture, stirring gently.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with crushed candy canes or chocolate shavings.
