Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs; mix until fully blended.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Gradually blend dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  7. Let the bars cool completely in the pan.
  8. For the frosting, beat together softened cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing until creamy.
  9. Spread the frosting over the cooled bars and cut into squares.
