Description

A quick and delicious white pizza topped with roasted garlic, fresh spinach, creamy cheeses, and a golden crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Place the rolled dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  4. Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle with minced garlic.
  5. Mix ricotta cheese with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired, then spread this mixture over the dough.
  6. Top with fresh spinach, mozzarella cheese, and crumbled feta cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

Preheating gives a crisper crust. Brushing oil with garlic lets the garlic toast lightly. Mixing ricotta first keeps it even on the dough. Check cheese color in the last minute.
