Description
Home-style meatballs cooked slow with a creamy mushroom gravy, perfect for easy weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined and form into meatballs.
- Place the meatballs in the slow cooker, spacing them slightly apart.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour the mixture over the meatballs.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve the meatballs with the gravy over mashed potatoes or rice.
Notes
Use a light touch when mixing the meat to keep the meatballs tender. For firmer meatballs, brown them in a skillet before placing them in the slow cooker.
