- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: garlic powder or onion powder, for seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix together spinach, feta, cream cheese, salt, pepper, and optional spices.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into 1-2 inch strips.
- Place a spoonful of the filling at one end of each strip, then twist the strips to create spirals.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with dips like tzatziki or marinara. They can be made ahead and stored in the fridge before baking.
