- 2 cups fresh peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups water
- Ice
- Mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Blend the sliced peaches with 1 cup of water until smooth to create a peach puree.
- Strain the peach puree into a pitcher, discarding the solids.
- Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar to the pitcher, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the remaining water and stir to combine.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days. For longer storage, freeze the lemonade in ice cube trays or freezer-safe containers.
