Description

Soft and mild Sweetened Condensed Milk Rolls that are quick to make and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, softened butter, milk, and egg; mix well.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, about 5-10 minutes.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Punch down the dough, divide it into rolls, and place them in a greased baking dish.
  8. Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with butter, jam, or a simple glaze. Store in a sealed container at room temperature for 1-2 days.
