- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
- Fresh basil leaves
- Rice paper wrappers
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef with soy sauce and hoisin sauce until fully cooked.
- Add shredded carrots and chopped bell peppers, cooking until tender.
- Soften rice paper in warm water, one sheet at a time.
- Lay the beef mixture and fresh basil on each rice paper wrapper, then roll up.
- Serve immediately, or store the filling separately until ready to serve.
Notes
Browning the beef well builds flavor. Ensure to soak rice paper just enough to avoid tearing.
