Description
A refreshing and fruity iced tea made with rooibos tea, fresh strawberries, and a hint of vanilla.
Ingredients

- 2 cups water
- 2 bags rooibos tea
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
- Ice cubes (for serving)
- Fresh mint for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Boil the water in a pot.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and add the rooibos tea bags. Let steep for about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove tea bags and stir in honey and vanilla extract until dissolved.
- Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
- Add sliced strawberries to the cooled tea.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint if desired.
Notes
Steep rooibos for 5–7 minutes for body without bitterness. Stir honey and vanilla while warm for better dissolution. Chill time allows the fruit to infuse the tea. Ripe, firm strawberries are best.
