Description
A simple baked cheese appetizer featuring a warm, spreadable Boursin dip served with crispy crostini.
Ingredients
Scale
- 5.2 oz Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 0.25 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- 0.25 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 baguette, sliced into thin rounds
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for crostini)
- Fresh herbs for garnish (parsley, thyme, or chives)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the baguette slices in a single layer. Brush each side with olive oil.
- Bake the baguette slices for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Mix the Boursin cheese, cream cheese, and sour cream in a medium bowl until smooth. Stir in olive oil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Transfer the mixture to a small oven-safe baking dish. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until hot and bubbling around the edges.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh herbs. Serve warm with your homemade crostini.
Notes
For best texture, serve within 10–20 minutes of baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3–4 days.
