Description

A simple and delicious baked salmon dish with a creamy lemon butter sauce that’s perfect for family dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb salmon fillet
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 lemon (juiced)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Place the salmon fillet on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Season it with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Bake the salmon in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until it is cooked through and flaky.
  3. Meanwhile, melt the butter over medium heat in a small saucepan.
  4. Add the heavy cream, lemon juice, and chopped parsley to the saucepan.
  5. Stir the mixture constantly until it starts to thicken, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Once the salmon is done baking, transfer it to a serving plate.
  7. Pour the lemon butter cream sauce over the baked salmon, and serve it hot.

Notes

Using fresh salmon gives the best flavor. Be careful not to overbake the fish, and feel free to add herbs for extra flavor.
