Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the corn syrup, sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until well combined.
  3. Stir in the pecan halves until evenly coated.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 60-70 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool before serving.
