Description

A quick and comforting creamy pasta dish made with tiny pastina and chicken broth, perfect for busy days or a cozy meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup dry pastina pasta
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2-3 fresh garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp salted butter
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Start by adding the pastina and chicken broth to a small pot or saucepan.
  2. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
  3. Stir it often so the pasta doesn’t stick.
  4. Once the pasta is cooked to your liking and the broth is nearly gone, lower the heat.
  5. Add the parmesan cheese, butter, and garlic.
  6. Stir for a few minutes until everything is well mixed and the cheese is melted.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. If you want it saucier, add a bit more chicken broth.
  9. Serve it up and enjoy!

Notes

Best served hot. Pairs well with salad or crusty bread. Can add fresh herbs on top.
