Description

Delicious soft and chewy Snickerdoodle cookies coated in cinnamon sugar, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened (2 sticks)
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar for rolling
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Prepare the cinnamon sugar coating by mixing sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  2. Whisk together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  3. Cream the softened butter and sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add the room-temperature eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  5. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just blended.
  6. Chill the dough for about 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat your oven and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  8. Scoop the dough, roll it in the cinnamon sugar, and place them on the sheets.
  9. Bake until golden, letting them cool afterward to achieve the perfect texture.
